There is se usa para hablar de una única cosa, mientras que there are se usa para hablar de más de una cosa.
Por ejemplo:
- There is a book on the table.
- There are two cats in the garden.
También podemos usar there is / there are para hablar de lugares. Por ejemplo:
- There is a restaurant on the corner.
- There are three banks on this street.
There is / There are en oraciones negativas
Para hacer oraciones negativas con there is / there are, necesitamos añadir la palabra not después del verbo to be (is / are).
Por ejemplo:

Algunos / cualquiera / ninguno
En esta lección, vamos a enfocarnos en some, any y no. Estas palabras se usan para hablar de cantidades, y a veces se usan de manera intercambiable, pero hay algunas diferencias importantes que debes conocer.
Some se usa para hablar de una cantidad específica de algo, mientras que any se usa para hablar de cualquier cantidad de algo. Por ejemplo:
